DeACapital Real Estate Iberia represents an important step for the Italian DeA Capital Group in the creation of a pan-European real estate platform, through the Group's branches led by a local Senior Management Team. Our Iberian team includes some of the top rated real estate specialists, with more than 20 years experience in the industry, focused on creating value through a tailor-made real estate advisory platform covering the complete cycle of each asset.
Emanuele Caniggia is Head of Global Real Estate and CEO of DeA Capital Real Estate SGR. Further to this he is Member of the Board of DeaCapital Real Estate Iberia. Emanuele has developed various entrepreneurial activities, since 1988, first in Ar.Co.Graph, and later in 1996 he founded Abaco Services, then Abaco Team, since 2012 in the CDA in Gabetti Property Solutions, Gabetti Agency, Patrigest and TreeRe. He founded IRE, formerly First Atlantic RE. Member of the Scientific Committee of EIRE, of QI, is on the Board of Assoimmobiliare and RE Services Committee of the Association.
José Maria Xercavins is chairman and partner of DeACapital Real Estate Iberia. In addition he is in charge of the investment fund Tauro Real Estate in Barcelona, and he is also a member of the board of Testa Residencial. Previously, he managed and raised two real estate funds, Metropolis and Metroinvest. He is a member of the economic commission of the Barcelona football club. He has also been regional director of Banesto Bank (Santander).
Emanuele Dubini joined as Managing Partner of DeA Capital Real Estate, starting the activity in France. Previously in 2015, he joined the FREO Group and expanded solidly the French, Iberia & Italian operations. He brings 25 years of experience in the industry and was previously CEO for GE Capital Real Estate in France, Italy and Spain for equity and lending activity. Prior to hat, he was at BNP Paribas Real Estate and BNL Fondi Immobiliari managing the Capital markets team. Earlier, he was also MD of Asset Management and board member of selected JVs between Pirelli Re and Morgan Stanley.
Koldo Ibarra joins DeA Capital Real Estate Iberia as CEO and partner. He has developed his over 20years experience in the real estate sector in the Corporate and Investment Banking divisions of several banks. In 2007, he joined Natixis Bank as Managing Director of the Real Estate Finance Iberia franchise, expanding its activities and underwriting over 10Bln€ in real estate loans, mainly focusing on the commercial property sector. Previously, he headed the same department at Fortis Bank. He also worked at Banesto in the CIB division.
María Laguna joined DeA Capital Iberia in 2019, as Managing Director, responsible for Investments and Asset Management. Prior to joining DeA Capital, María was Director of Investments and Asset Management at TRIUVA Iberia. She has more than 22 years of experience in real estate investments. Maria graduated in Economics from the University Autónoma of Madrid, and has a Master Degree in Real Estate at the Architecture School from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. She also studied a MBA program from the University of Missouri, Columbia (USA).
